Coffee Fact :: The best time to drink coffee isn’t the crack of dawn. Having a cup in the late morning, ideally between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., takes advantage of your body’s natural hormone production cycles.
Hi Kalyn,
It’s no secret, I’m a coffee drinker (I’m also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.). I drink the coffee and then I do the things! Since I work from home, it’s important for me to get up in the morning and get dressed and go out of the house and buy a cup of coffee. I know …. But, the commute from the bedroom to the office is not all it’s cracked up to be. I need to go outside and connect with people – chatting with my barista, stopping to talk to my parking lot attendant, a quick conversation with a neighbor or my friends at the gym makes all the difference for me – just like you would if going to work in a large office. I didn’t realize how lucky I was in this respect until my niece, who was about 6 at the time and lives in the suburbs of Indiana, pointed out to me that like Mr. Rodgers, I seem to know everyone in the neighborhood. Made me love her all the more and definitely put a smile on my face!
My Sorors have been hounding me to make an AKA coffee cup and since many of you make your coffee at home before getting into your cars or catching your bus, train or subway to commute to the office, I thought I’d do a little something special. And now we have #AKA On-the-Go Coffee Cups! Sold in packs of 10, these cuties are insulated to keep your morning beverage of choice warm and designed to make sure you’re drinking in style. Click here to check them out.
Not an AKA, but would like a super cute effie’s paper on-the-go coffee cup? Shoot me an email and we’ll see what we can come up with!
