Effie's Paper x Judith Rae

It's Women's History Month and we ARE HERE FOR IT!  To start the month off we've partnered with one of our favorite photographers, JUDITH RAE of Judith Rae Photography.  I had the pleasure of meeting Judith a little over 10 years ago now, when my husband and I got married.  Judith was the 2nd camera woman and immediately stole the hearts of our family and guests because they saw that she would do whatever it took to get the shot!  (And let me tell you, she got some amazing shots ...).
Judith's been doing her own thing for awhile now; her passion for photography is rooted in the desire to tell global stories of love, beauty, fashion and culture. Her unique life experiences have enabled her to quickly connect with people and capture their lives with sensibility and compassion.  I couldn't agree with this more - as I said, we were lucky enough to have 2 photographers at our wedding.  Loved them both!  In fact, shortly thereafter, Judith and I worked on a special project together for Effie’s Paper; we've stayed in touch to this day ... all of these years later.  To browse Judith’s work for purchase, click here.  And to find Judith on Instagram, go to @judithraenyc.
I am all about supporting other female owned businesses and am delighted to share Judith's amazing talent with you all. So, if you've got a milestone birthday, a wedding, a babymoon coming up or you just want to have some beautiful photos taken give Judith a call; she's currently booking Spring sessions.

I don't know about you, but this was not quite the start to the new year I was anticipating .... After what we all witnessed on January 6th at the US Capitol Building, I was consumed with anger, frustration and hopelessness. I shut down, literally and figuratively.
