The folks over at the Harvard Business Review published a blog post about handwriting a note versus sending an email or a text message. They talk about how handwritten notes are a rare commodity but they’re also more important than ever in this world where we are quickly jumping to technology to reach out to someone. Handwritten notes are permanent in a way emails and text messages aren’t and they cost something and mean something. Personal letters let the people in our lives know we appreciate them so pause 15 minutes, 1 day a week, and jot down a quick note to a friend or loved one. The gratitude you express in a handwritten letter will affect you and the recipient in more ways than you think! When was the last time you received or sent a handwritten note in the mail?
