Feeling the January Blues? Us to. Check out these fun ways to cheer yourself up during the first month of the year!
1. Go Outside: A little Vitamin D and sunshine goes a long way! Just 15 minutes a day can boost your mood - not to mention the benefits of fresh air!
2. Exercise: From the wisdom of Elle Woods, “exercise gives you endorphins, endorphins make you happy!”
3. Be Positive: Smile, laugh, or give someone a compliment. You'll not only make their day but you'll also feel warm and fuzzy inside.
4. Eat Clean: Harder than it sounds but you'll reap the benefits and who knows, it may even become a habit!
5. Plan Ahead: Plan that summer vacation, plan for the week ahead, or make your To Do's color coded! Planning ahead will help you feel more organized so you don't fall behind.
6. Relax: Netflix may sound lazy but it's also relaxing ... believe me, I'd know. Open up that coloring book you received for the holidays, read that stack of books you've been dying to finish or try cooking that new dish idea you saw on Pinterest!
