Do you have the perfect morning routine? Lucky you! I wish I could say I followed this routine daily, but when I do the day that follows is usually a good one!
My morning routine in 5 quick steps:
1. BUT FIRST COFFEE: I always start my morning with a latte in one of our
motivational coffee mugs. They're great for inspiring me to get moving ... the coffee helps too!
2. I PACK MY BAG: I grab my purse, a bottle of water and a change of clothes and head to the gym. I love a great tote bag and our
Black Girl Magic tote is my favorite.
3. I PULL IT TOGETHER: I have a set of cosmetics that I keep in one of my
effie's paper makeup pouches, just a little bit of concealer, mascara and lip gloss and I'm ready to head out the door. Feeling pretty makes for a good day, right? Our
pouches hold just about everything.
4. CHECK MY TO DO'S: Once I sit down at my desk, I review my
To Do list. I usually write a list at the beginning of each week and daily I tick off what I need to tackle. Our
To Do list notepad keeps me organized!
5. DIVE RIGHT IN: Whether that's taking my first phone call, running that important errand, or heading into our Brooklyn office, I always have a
notebook with me to jot down new ideas and keep track of things.
