Did you know that as of 2015, Netflix had more than 60 million subscribers?!?! Kind of crazy, right?

It’s cold outside!  I don’t know about you, but on weekends like this all I want to do is stay in bed with a cup of hot chocolate and read a good book or binge watch my newest obsession on Netflix.  It’s amazing how quickly Netflix has changed the way we watch TV. My favorite shows involve a little bit of fantasy or alternate story lines – I’ve been watching some pretty binge-worthy shows this season. My current faves are listed below. How about you?

Here’s my current TV Show list:

1. Stranger Things: When a young boy disappears, his mother, a police chief, and his friends must confront terrifying forces in order to get him back. This awesome, chilling Netflix show also just won the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series at this year’s Screen Actor’s Guild!
2. Man In The High Castle: A glimpse into an alternate history of North America. What life after WWII may have been like if the Nazis had won the war.
3. Glitch: When Sergeant James Hayes, a police officer in the small town of Yoorana, is called out to the local cemetery in the middle of the night, he makes a discovery that turns his world upside down. Six people have inexplicably risen from the dead in perfect health.
4. Gilmore Girls : A Year In The Life: Set nearly a decade after the finale of the original series, this revival follows Lorelai, Rory and Emily Gilmore through four seasons of change.
5. The OA: Having gone missing seven years ago, the previously blind Prairie returns home, now in her 20s with her sight restored. While many believe she is a miracle, others worry that she could be dangerous.
6. The Magicians: After being recruited to a secretive academy, a group of students discover that the magic they read about as children is very real-and more dangerous than they ever imagined.
7. Queen Sugar: The series follows the life of three siblings–brother Ralph-Angel (trying to rebuild his life after jail) and sisters, Nova Bordelon (social activist, root woman, and herbalist) and Charley Bordelon (L.A. basketball wife), who, with her teenage son Micah, moves to the heart of Louisiana to claim an inheritance from their recently departed father – an 800-acre sugarcane farm.
8. This Is Us: Follows a unique ensemble, as their paths cross and their life stories intertwine, from sharing the same birthday, to so much more than anyone would expect.
