Mystery Show is a Gimlet Media Podcast. Gimlet Media was started by Alex Blumberg, one of the guys who originally started Planet Money while working as a radio host at NPR (which means, he pretty much nerds out and creates amazing content! Check out his podcast, StartUp, to learn about how he started his own media company). Mystery Show host, Starlee Kine, another NPR alum solves mysteries. Sounds so basic, right? It’s anything but. This is definitely a podcast for the nerds out there, anyone who believes that good ‘ole elbow grease and ingenuity is the best way to solve a mystery. HINT: Googling is not allowed.
P.S. I’m chomping at the bit for Season 2; apparently the mysteries take a little while to solve, so if you can help yourself, you might not want to binge on this one!
