I’m lucky enough to have 6 amazing nieces and nephews (3 nieces, 2 of whom are named Jada – the other is spelled Jayda – and 3 nephews). My mini-me, however, is my five year old niece Jada. She loves purple, sending and receiving mail, anything sparkly and oh yeah, she truly believes she is a princess . . . Can we say that my sister and brother-in-law are in for more than they bargained for with Miss Jada? She’s a BAP through and through and she doesn’t even know what B.A.P. stands for yet! Even though she’s only five, her wanderlust is well developed. She’s got a long list of places she plans to travel to when she grows up; I send her postcards to give her fodder for her ever-growing list. So while not a letter per se, a postcard is still a handwritten note! And you best believe, Miss Jada expects to receive her postcards. Yup, she’s definitely following in her auntie’s and great-grandmother’s footsteps. I guess some things are truly a part of one’s DNA.
