Let's be clear, it's ok to not be ok ... We are one year into a world-wide pandemic and life as we knew it has changed for at least the foreseeable future. If you've hit the pandemic wall, you are not alone. I hit it about 10 days ago. My mom hit it yesterday, my bestie hit it on Monday.
There's been a lot of talk recently about toxic positivity,i.e., the belief that no matter how dire a situation is you should maintain a positive mindset and reject difficult emotions in a favor a cheerful facade. If you've been here for awhile you know that's not how we roll. The past year has been some *ish ... give yourself permission to feel your feelings; some days you may feel them more than others.
