Happy Sunday loves! As an NYC gal I have to try everything in the city at least once. Here’s a list of the best things to do in NYC this summer!
1 // THIS PLAY
I love going to the theater! The plot of Pipeline recently caught my eye. Its about Nya, a mother and high school teacher, fighting to give her son, Omari, a future by sending him to boarding school. The message behind Pipeline is a powerful conversation that we all need to have.
2 //THIS SNACK
Milk Bar is the sister bakery to Momofuku, the famous restaurant chain owned by David Chang. They make cookies, cakes, pies and ice cream. The force behind Milk Bar is Christina Tosi. Chef Tosi is a two-time James Beard award winner; she focuses on putting a playful spin on familiar home-style desserts and savory snacks using quality ingredients and locally sourced dairy. And yes, she is the creator of the highly addictive cereal milk
ice cream, compost cookies® and crack pie®, all of which have gained world-wide recognition since she opened milk bar’s doors in 2008. More details on a weekend in East Village here!

I’ve been looking into natural exfoliants and moisturizers. When I heard of the St. Ives Mixing Bar, I had to give it a try. With ingredients such as shea butter, cranberry, coconut and apricots, I’m so excited because my skin will be smooth for the rest of the Summer into the Fall.

As my interns go back to college I want my girls to be prepared for the months ahead. I’ve put together a list of college essentials. My number one must have is a desk that is organized and stylish.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in the City is Han Dynasty, or as we jokingly call it Handy Nasty. The original Han Dynasty is in Philly, but they do a bang up business on the LES catering to all of the NYU students and folks in the know. If you like Szechuan, this is the culinary spot for you to add to your list of things to do in NYC.
