Who Would Object To Pink?

The colorful history of pink!
At Effie's Paper, we love pink! Pink embodies empowerment - it's bold, beautiful and bright - it's become a part of our brand's DNA. The color pink was almost another character in the movies "Mean Girls" and "Legally Blonde". And in 18th century France, pink was a staple in interior design.
"Over the last twenty years, different genders, sexualities and races have gotten together and said, 'Pink doesn't have to be childish and feminine. Pink can be powerful, androgynous, political, cool.' It's kind of a dream color."
- Valerie Steele, curator of a recent exhibition about the shade at
the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York
