ICYMI Senator Kamala Harris was named as the Democratic Vice Presidential nominee by Joe Biden yesterday. This is history in the making ya'll! I'm not gonna lie, I teared up watching the news last night. There's aREALpossibility that the first woman to be in a top national leadership position in the US is going to be a Black woman. I am soooo ready for the positive impact this duo could have on our country!
If you are serious about wanting a change, a real, tangible change – VOTE. I implore you to call/text your friends and (1) make sure they're registered to vote and (2) confirm that they are planning to vote in the Presidential election this November.
And how cool is it that there will be a group of girls and black, brown and Asian children who will grow up believing they can become the President and/or Vice President of the United States because in they came into the world when we had an African-American President and they'll be old enough to witness a female Vice President!?!?!? I'm here for it ya'll. LET'S GO! GET OUT THERE AND VOTE.
